5. Do We Offer AI-Based Products?

Yes. Vestia uses artificial intelligence to power outfit generation, wardrobe tagging, and style suggestions. These features are provided through Anthropic's Claude API.

You may opt out of AI features by not using outfit generation, tag generation, or the packing assistant. Core wardrobe management does not require AI processing.

6. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

Our third-party service providers (Anthropic, RevenueCat, and Mixpanel) are based in the United States. By using Vestia, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure adequate protection for international data transfers. Details are available upon request.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

Vestia does not require an account. Wardrobe data, outfit logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device via Apple's SwiftData framework — we do not hold copies on our servers.

RevenueCat subscription data is retained as required for financial and legal compliance. Upon request, we will remove or anonymise your data within 30 days.

8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information. Your wardrobe data is stored on-device and protected by your device's security (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode). Data transmitted to Anthropic, RevenueCat, and Mixpanel is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.

No electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Do We Collect Information from Minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to users under 18 years of age. By using Vestia, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that data from a minor has been collected, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at support@appvestia.com if you believe this has occurred.

11. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track signals, as no uniform standard has been established. If a standard is adopted that we are required to follow, we will update this notice accordingly.

If you are a resident of California or other US states with applicable privacy laws, you may have additional rights including the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data.
